Palinor is a web-based platform based in Vienna, Austria, that offers digital, automated patient education before medical procedures. The platform is operated by Palinor GmbH. Our service is exclusively aimed at medical facilities, clinics and authorized professionals in Austria.

2. Service Description

Palinor provides an intelligent video engine that generates and digitally provides personalized educational videos based on structured medical data. The platform enables:

• Creation of individualized, legally compliant and understandable patient education videos
• Comprehensive mapping and support of the entire digital education process
• Integration into clinical workflows and IT systems
• Distribution of QR codes and links to patients
• Recording and documentation of digital consents

The responsibility for the medical accuracy, completeness and quality of the video content and the education process lies with the medical facilities that provide the underlying data and accompany the process. Palinor assumes no liability for this.

3. Usage Fees

The use of Palinor is reserved for medical facilities, clinics and authorized professionals. The remuneration for use is agreed contractually and must be paid before access is provided. Patients use the educational videos free of charge.

4. Refund

In case of technical disruptions or non-delivery of the agreed service, customers are entitled to remediation or appropriate refund. A full refund is only made in case of demonstrable and irreparable disruption.

5. Liability and Warranty

Palinor guarantees the availability and functionality of the platform. Palinor assumes no liability for the content of the educational videos. Medical content and treatment results are not guaranteed by Palinor. Liability for gross negligence and intent remains unaffected.

6. Data Protection

Personal data is processed exclusively for patient education and protected in accordance with GDPR. Details can be found in the privacy policy.

7. Final Provisions

These terms and conditions are subject to Austrian law. The place of jurisdiction is Vienna. Changes to the terms and conditions will be published on the website and apply from the date of publication.
